November 2006 releases are out!
Posted by Antonis Kaladis on December 1st, 2006 |
A little later than usual, November 2006 releases are finally out. Unfortunately, adding all the new patches and components added to the size. For the Full release of AutoPatcher XP, this means 330 megabytes.
For links, check the downloads page.
Best regards,
Antonis

Windows Media Player 11 detection based on the 10.0 registry path so always appears to need to be installed… other than this — great job! Autopatcher is the best way to fully patch your system!

Do I need to install any previous autopatcher release before using November one?
http://autopatcher.iad.cachefly.net/AutoPatcher_XP_Sep2006_PortugueseBrazil.exe
This url is working no more. Ive downloaded 95%. It took me 3 days since I am using 28K dialup in Pakistan. If the mirror isnt restored, Ill have to download the file again which would be too inconvenient. Kindly help me out by making this file available again.

Great job!
I am available for a donation, this is a super value software if you consider that WinUpdate is still giving me errors (1FE and 202) and I wasn’t able to make it work!!!
Thank you!!!

Thanks for what looks to be a tailor-made solution to my problem! I downloaded and installed the full version from July, then in succession, added the updates from August, September and October. I then copied the entire installation [C:\Program Files/Autopatcher] to a CD. I mailed this CD to my Dad for installation on his PC. He’s several hundred miles away, and has dial-up internet only. I now have downloaded the latest update [November] and have copied it onto another CD, which I am mailing to him today. I intend to try and use Remote Assistance to connect our two PC’s, take control of his desktop, then run the Windows XP updates through the Autopatcher on the CD’s. Does that sound reasonable to the braintrust here?
Thanks again,
Tim

Thanks for programing this useful program. My Windows isn`t geniune so it was great for me to use this program instead of Windows Update. When I was going to download Autopatcher XP November 2006 I used my BitTorrent Client so it was much faster. It didN` t took so long altough the file was a little bigger. With 1mps dsl internet connection I` ve downlaoded it in less than 2 hours. I had a problem in installing Windows Media Player but I had downloaded it from another BitTorrent (not from Autopatcher). Please improve the Windows Geniune Advatage feature on Autopatcher.
Thanks again,
Daniel

hi.i am running xp pro sp2.i wanted to ask you which updates should i install in order for my system to be up to date?
December 21st, 2006 at 12:47 pm
Excellent as always, no more win update after a clean install. helps out a lot.
I like to report a bug though, on MCE2005, if you install all the autopatcher from aug to nov. one of them changes the MCE version to 2002 version on system properties. Most likely it’s a mess that microsoft made tho. and I don’t know which one of the update does this. and i notice it just now.
2 thumbs up
