There is a problem with this security update if there is a Realtek audio card installed. After you apply this update, the Realtek Sound Effect Manager will not start. To resolve this issue you must install the fix KB935448.

This is a known bug. There is a patch available on this link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/
Microsoft will be pushing this patch out to SOME systems tomorrow. Windows Update will only give it to you if it thinks you need it, but I’m sure it is going to miss some people who do need it.

I operate a postal/shipping retail store where we use a private POS system for pricing and shipping manifests. I downloaded the KB925902 patch and encountered serios problems in starting my s/w system. I removed the s/w and remapped the system. Any suggestions as to whetehr I should ignore the MS update notice or use another d/l would be apprecaited. Thanks.
