Their are going to be a couple verification errors in the scripts until we update them for this month. On some of the releases, we are playing catch-up since Microsoft made some changes. Just to make sure, what release are you trying to update?

The folder already has the file mentioned, but when I run AutoPatcher to check for updates not terminates and this error.

Hi sktmd,
The error you see is because the script for APUP is out-of-date. I have updated the script and it is now being tested.
When it is ready, it will be announced in the AutoPatcher for Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) forum
