AutoPatcher > Office Addons > _msoutlook_enu > outconnector_enu.apm_files is incorrect.

The .APM file lists version 12.0.4518.1068; the latest I've downloaded is 12.0.6237.1003

The script and/or AutoPatcher needs updating

More information.

After I sent the previous message I decided to re-run my copy of Outlook Connector and have it repair my installation just in case I had allowed Autopatcher to install its version.

When the installation completed a message appeared saying a newer version was available and it must be downloaded to continue using Outlook Connector. I allowed the download and installation to occur and now I have Outlook Connector version 12.0.6407.1000.

AutoPatcher and the APUP script need updating. <_<

Outlook Connector version 12.0.6407.1000 is apart of the Windows Live suite that is still in beta. Any lower beta versions were forced an update to the latest beta. Version 12.0.4518.1058 is still the latest non-beta.

That figures. Would be nice if Microsoft included the word 'beta' as part of the version number when that applied.

To put this back on-topic, I can update the script to download the latest version of Microsoft Office Outlook Connector (12.1), but I have no way of testing this.

Also, Microsoft say:

Quote

In order to make sure that all of your calendar items on the MSN Calendar service are correctly migrated to the Windows Live Calendar, you should follow these steps:
  • With Outlook Connector 12.0 installed, synchronize your calendar in Microsoft Office Outlook with the MSN Calendar service one last time.
  • After synchronization is complete, do not create new items on the MSN Calendar site. If you do, you will have to synchronize again using Outlook Connector 12.0 before migrating to Outlook Connector 12.1.
  • Install Outlook Connector 12.1.
  • Start Outlook. At this point, the Outlook Connector 12.1 will upload all of your appointments and meetings to your new Windows Live Calendar.

Has anyone done this? The only thing AutoPatcher can do is "3. Install Outlook Connector 12.1".
