Verifying Release Integrity takes like 10 minutes

yes and no. i've found this issue long ago. the issue is related to the speed than the driver access the data. since this time is far slower than an hd, verify data integrity takes a lot longer. unfortunelly, there's only 2 things that you can do to avoid this issue:
- remove the .rti files and then burn the dvd: issue: your autopatcher version will no longer be official;
- copy all the dvd to hd
personally, i've already measured the time needed to install all the stuff from hd and from cd/dvd and, even if you count the time needed to copy the entire stuff to hd, i't faster this way
by the way: we can't fix this issue, since it's related to the device only

If you have Windows 2000 + Windows XP + Vista releases all on the same DVD in the same folder tree, then verification will take three times as long, whatever you do.
It all ends up with a personal choice: do you prefer to have all updates on a universal DVD (or single network share), or do you prefer speed of verification?
