i selected the the following updates to install:

root certificates (1st August 2007)
Malicious software removal tool - august 2007 (KB890830 V1.32)
security update for windows xp (KB923810)
security update for windows xp (KB933729)

after doing so and restarting my PC it did not appear in add/or remove programs, but if i rerun autopatcher installer the 4 updates are still in black writing and not blue. what might be the problem?

i have downloaded all updates via the updater as of 15th November. i am installing the updates on a windows xp professional x86 system with service pack 2 installed if it helps.

Did you reboot again or only the first time? Also, Malicious software removal tool - august 2007 (KB890830 V1.32) is not the latest version, the November script has v1.34 in it.

Try running the update manually. To do so, find the KB update within the modules folder and double-click the .exe file.
