I have been a fan of AP for years but I now have a problem. Close to the end of the fetching process the upper progress bar begins to behave erratically. I end up fetching 100.2% with failed verification. The error message is "Application Error - Subscript out of range in prjupdater.mdldownloader processDownloadQueue at line 100".

Can anyone provide a solution or advice? Thanks in advance.

can you please run apup with /log option or hit the "this this..." file and post the log in here?

Do rename Apup.exe to Apup /log.exe? I am not sure how to create the log file.

Thanks, I found the forum instructions and posted the second run log file above. There seem to be several problems that I cannot solve.

KB952069 problem is related to an update at ms servers. they released a new version and have removed the previews one from their server

windows_noncritical_xp_x86_enu.7z is in our server, but there's an issue regarding that file. that inst.apf isn't in the file and apup always will check for missing files and will try download this one to match. until it gets fixed, the issue will be there. i'm sure that james will fix this soon

about the copyprofile, the link is ok. probably the error at the md5 was something in the download process

without euFontUpdate_enu.apm_files\inst.apf you only will have one issue: autopatcher will be unable to detect if this one was already updated or not.

also, because this issues, autopatcher will see your version also non-official, but will be able to install anything that was downloaded properly

You will need to update your PC to Service Pack 3 before you run AutoPatcher.

-> autopatcher_xp_sp3_enu_0812b_p.script
This is not only the name of the release but also the system requirements.

You can still build a release package using APUP which is the program you ran to
download the files from the internet and create the XP SP3 package but before you
run autopatcher.exe to install the hotfixes, you will need to install Service Pack 3 first.

This checks out for me - both size and hash and the link seems good...

Re-run APUP again with the same 3 selections (should be by default) and post the new updated log.
Hopefully there will be fewer lines. Click OK at the Error Message Popup and click the "Finish" tab.
