Maybe I am missing something but I couldn't find a way to ensure that the Updater remembers my selections. If this is not in the system by default, then consider this a recommendation

Hi klymax...
For now, when apup.exe is run 3 items will be selected automatically:
AutoPatcher Updater - apup.exe related
AutoPatcher Engine - autopatcher.exe related
The installed OS from which apup.exe is run
I'm not sure but this behavior may change in future releases.

Thanks for the response. I have seen the three selected by default. I would select an additional four for my system but every time I run the programme, it would be good if it could detect the .rti files in the folder and auto select those as well.

Any news ideas when the new version will be realeased?
I am wanting to schedule apup.exe to run every Tuesday and check for updates on only my selected options, not the default ones like it does now(which do not suit my environment).

no. we are very short of people and is really a pain find someone skilled in vb6 to keep the current code of apup updated and add new and desired features. erik was doing that, but he is missing. some of the beta team members are willing to write an new apup, but there's not an specific date to that. in meantime, if you wish that feature, you can try this version. it's beta and it may have some uncharted bugs, but it seems kite stable and it has that feature that you need.
just an warning: that beta doesn't have support

Just a note, you'd probably get some errors if you run apup every Tuesday. These guys need at least a day or two to get the scripts up to date, so it's not like you'd get the latest patches from "Patch Tuesday" that way.
I'd run it by Thursday, just to give sufficient time. And don't be surprised by any errors you get, just come and check on the forums before posting that the latest patches aren't included.

Good point.
For half of the world Patch Tuesday is actually Patch Wednesday, anyway.
