When downloading only the English XP 2.6 script, I get a run-time error on update as soon as the download for WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86 finishes. (Well what do you know, Windows Update causing problems, isn't that why we are here in the first place?) I took a look at the x86 script and the corresponding .apm file for the update but I didn't find anything obviously wrong. Here's the excerpt from the XP script:

I suggest that if you can't quickly fix the problem, you should just remove this update from the list so that we have a working program.

I've just created a clean install of the 2.6 beta, with no runtime error (0), but "one or more files failed verification. Do you want to continue".

The failed verification is a problem at the autopatcher server (according to Renato). The runtime error(0) occurred when you had version 2.4 beta install and download with the new beta 2.6. I've experienced this problem with 2.4 upgraded to 2.6 beta. See my bug list report. bug list report - version 2.6 beta

Although I have no problem starting over (I have the bandwidth) this is a problem which Renato/Antonis needs to address before the final version.

I agree - i don't want to start all over again. Thats why I've the runtime error(0) still listed as a download bug
