I am a first-time user of AutoPatcher. I ran the updater to obtain my choice of releases, and at the end of the download it came up with the message:

"One or more files failed verification. Prease re-run AutoPatcher updator...."

I tried again, and the same error message occured. Is there a problem, and how do I fix it?

I also find in the download directory a bunch of files ending with .rti. Are they suposed to be here, or do they indicate something wrong, or should I just delete them?

Regards
harfad

> Is there a problem, and how do I fix it?
please, at apup folder, you can find an file named "hit this to generate a log". just hit that file, then copy and paste in here the log that find the issue

> a bunch of files ending with .rti. Are they suposed to be here
those files are the signature from the release. if you keep that file and the whole script untouched, you may be sure that everything was downloaded ok.

great. opuc.dll was updated again... this will be fixed tonight. don't worry, autopatcher will work as usual, just the detection for this one will not work until we update the module for this one, but i can't do that right now. at night, maybe, but is more probable that i will be free only tomorrow at morning.

this was supposed to happen, because this file had to be updated.

but this don't:
office_addons.7z: 404 - File not found

this issue was related to the change of download path. to make the story short, some files was in a folder, some other files was in another one, etc. doing this way was being a problem, because those that do that in daily basis know that, but the one that was keeping that script was Erik and he is missing. we are trying keep the releases running, but keep the folder structure that he was choosing was being too complicated and we had to move each release to his own folder in our server. we are doing this task very slowly, because every single release will have to change somethings in order to work in this way. at the "move files" process, this file was forgot and not moved. that was my fault, in deed. i should take more care, but i really can't by personal issues

it shall be ok now. thank for your patience

you have 2 issues: the first one is related to Non-Unicode Default. please, change it to english. apup doesn't work with non-english non-unicode

the 2nd issue may be related to the folder where you are running apup. sometimes, apup doesn't work well in certain folders. if the first tip doesn't work, please try move apup to c:\apup

neither me. pure bloatware, since long ago. i'm running broffice since a couple of years now. so far, so good. and the better part: it's free and it already have the new dictionary to my language. they are merging the typo of some words with the portuguese from portugal and now we have to learn again how to write a lot of words. due that, an updated dictionary comes right in hand. for office, ms says that they may have done the same job next year. good thing, isn't?

anyway, this issue shall now be fixed. if not, please state that
