Today was released a new script for APUP for Windows XP/2003 x64.

Right now it doesn't include the Add-Ons, but has Components, Critical and Recommended hotfixes.

Make sure that you have the latest version of APUP, that you can download here.

Fell free to test it and report bugs that you may find. To try it, just open APUP and it will be listed there.

In beta v2.0, the following checksums from the script do not match the ones in the downloaded files:

Looking for file H:\apup\modules\Components\__dotnet\KB928366_xp_2k3_x64_enu.apm
MD5 Hashes do NOT match. Expecting 417f124b9d2a04f6fd52490718632103, but found e476bcee2b13288b363be62c1884fb57!!!
...
Starting detection routine for item wmp11-windowsxp-x64-enu.exe
  Looking for file H:\apup\modules\Components\wmp11_xp_2k3_x64_enu.apm_files\wmp11-windowsxp-x64-enu.exe
MD5 Hashes do NOT match. Expecting 17913c4251ae6bfae97a6d76a060e8ab, but found 1269e4628cb3f8ab7b9cca3915b464ad!!!

I downloaded them again directly from their URLs but the checksums were still what apup found rather than expected.

Two more problems:

Starting detection routine for item AutoPatcher Components Modules
  Looking for file H:\apup\modules\Components\__dotnet\dotnet11sp1_x64_enu.apm
  File does not exist!!!
  Looking for file H:\apup\modules\Components\WinLiveMsngr_x64_enu.apm
  File does not exist!!!
Item AutoPatcher Components Modules doesn't appear to be here. Adding its downloads to queue...
  Adding http://www.autopatcher.com/releases/english/windows_components_xp_2003_x64_enu.zip.

Now these are actually 2 different problems. For the first one (dotnet11sp1_x64_enu.apm), the apm is not in the zip archive. The later (WinLiveMsngr_x64_enu.apm) is an odd problem. In the x64 script, there is a command at the beginning "PreAction.FileDelete=autopatcher:\modules\Components\WinLiveMsngr_x64_enu.apm" but then it re-downloads it during the script execution. If it should be removed then there is no reason to re-download it, and if it was updated then simply changing the expected hash to the new value would force it to update.

Hi Evrybody,

I've tested the XP/2003 (x64) ENU script version 2.2 beta (30 November 2007) - downloaded without any error. I think the current version can be marked as stable
