the answer for that as a lot of ifs... just also an reminder, in the early days of autopatcher, when we still was able to release an full bunch of updates, autopatcher was released about 1 week after the Patch Tuesday. why that? easy, we do require some time in order to fully test the modules/script. also, we do have our own lives, families, our jobs and we do that for free. due that, we only can work with autopatcher in our free time (that is pretty different than deal with that full time, like you do with your job or something else).
when we hat to move to apup, our scripts become online, but that doesn't means less job. it still has to be tested. also, we are reduced to just an skeleton crew, that is working like hell to keep this project alive. this is proving kite painfull and, due that, we lost some team members from times to times. we do require replacements, like in any other kind of job, but if you are paid for it, the people jump for it. but we work for free, by our free will only. to do that kind of job, just a few move any muscle. those that do that need to be trained, like in any kind of job. some of those are already in our beta team, but in order to do that, we do require spare some time to teach them how to do. that also takes time.
also, yours may realize that some scripts are updated more close to Patch Tuesday than others. also i already said, that depends a lot of the releaser maintainer free time. if you don't sleep, you will have 8h more to work, but some day you, your family or you job will collapse. we don't wish that to no one, so please, make to us an favor: report new updates (we may be aware of them, but is nice when someone do that anyway), but please, don't complain about delays before 1 week, because some of us may require that time to do an nice job
