Hello

I got XP SP3 and was looking to get some updates. I didnt use AP for more then one year. NOW I'M BACK :-)
I got some strange problem. When i start apup.exe it is not downloading any list of updates. Just a blank screen. My internet is OK and firewall turned off.

Any ideas?

Update:
My laptop has XP SP2 and is connected to same network (in my house) and It is working fine. Same router. No ports opened on router for laptop in particular.Very strange?

some firewalls, even disabled, can have issues with apup. some requires special configurations, like comodo. could be an nice idea check for some hidden firewall or, if you can provide the name of the firewall, we can help you with the config for it
