any detail so, it is uncertain at this point.
We have tried to get help for a few of the releases that are behind, it starts out good but once the reality of the level of
work involved becomes clear most volunteers simply don't have the time to dedicate - unfortunate but true...

yep. and the beta team, that could at least state the kbs that are missing don't say a single word. honestly, i can update that release fully blindly, but in order to this kind of update work, at least the users should care about and state what are missing. but no, the ones that should be doing that before the release go public aren't doing it
> don't have the time to dedicate
also true. and the few ones that still are working are overloaded due that. 2 days ago, i was able to sleep 3-4h only, because i had personal work to do. yesterday, i had more lucky: 5-6h tops. and yet, no time to myself. for today, i was suppose to see an movie with my girlfriend, but i simple can't do that, because i'm late with a lot of things. and worst: it may be fixed only at 13/06 (ddmm), when i will take some vacations (20 days, thanks God) from my daily-basis job. but i will do that only by one reason: it's too cold in here right now, i drive an bike and my bed us to look so warm in the mornings...

Benjo, are you offering to update XP x64 at atleast for the moment - if so...
Run APUP - check XP x64 and download script - copy script to a safe place - get download links for Critical,
NonCritical, and Component apm files and download apm 7zs. Go thru the script and remove outdated links
- add new updates with links, size and md5 info - remove old apm files from said apm 7z files - create new
apm files with detection info from your test or deployment info from TechNet Security Bulletin for XP x64.
Add new apm files to appropriate 7z - get hash and size of new 7z, add info to script. Test your script and
report failure or success? We could use your help. It isn't really complicated just time consuming.
You could assemble a fully functional AutoPatcher release including the Extras by following this brief explanation,
with a little tweaking, all that would be missing is an Official status but your release would be as good as any other
if you look closely at the script(s) and apm file layout - give it a shot.

About your issue. Apup may preselect 3 boxes for you, Updater, Engine, and the native OS, but you
should be able to uncheck whatever you don't want and check only the OS you want to download at
that moment - I'm not sure why you can't select XP x64 and proceed to download the release.
The XP x64 release is very much beta so there is some needed tweaking necessary to insure a reliable
release - why do you think we are asking for beta testers. We need people like yourself to test on an
x64 system.

you are experiencing. Should you feel inclined to do so run apup.exe /log and post the log file in
here so we can have a look. Log Files - More Info
