I'm using XP SP3 Eng and

every time when I launch autopatcher, it goes well and downloads the files quietly.

However, when the process goes to the end point, an error box pops up :







I reviewed log files and found many errors not just one below :

Oh, by the way

No matter how many times I rerun autopatcher and Which partition the apup.exe in , the error box shows up every time at the same point

Recently I'm gonna reinstall XP, so if you admins see my posts, please reply and give me some advice.

Personally I prefer not to click links to rapidshare so unless Cristiano wants to tackle this I would recommend posting your log file
like most others do using codebox. It has nothing to do with you.

The XP SP3 x86 script should be fine but at 556MB you have more than one script selected and it may not be XP SP3 x86 you are
having troubles with.

my friend, i'm not sure about what is happening to your downloads, but it seems to be an issue from your side only. take a look at WindowsXP-KB961503-x86-ENU.exe , by instance. you log says this:

File size does NOT match. Expecting 573824, but found 525564!!!

the expected size is right, take a look:


i could bet in some viral infection due this:

apup has an know bug about Non-Unicode Default. please, change it to english and try again. if this not work, an scan with an good anti-virus is advisable.
