I have a number of virtual machines some of which have Office 2007 installed and some have Office2003.
The host machine has not got Office 2007 installed yet.
Running APUP on the host says the parent critical item is not installed (quite correctly) and does not download the updates.

How do I get the addons for Office 2007 to download so I can update the virtual machines from a common source?

you just have to select the scripts manually at apup screen. then, apup will download it

I don't have Office 2003 installed but I do own Office 2003 on disc so I have been updating/downloading both AutoPatcher
for Office 2003 and Office Addons without issue. You shouldn't need the software installed to download the module just to
load it properly.

In my case only a few items show up in the Office Addons module due to Office not being installed.

I do not know how to add indiviual scripts. I assume tht if I select a release it downloads the script automatically and then retrieves the appropriate files from MS. The most recent failure log of this is attached

according to your log, the issue is related to office 2k7. the releaser maintainer will be informed of that

OK I understand now. I was perhaps confused by your referring to ADDING scripts instead of SELECTING them. My bad and problem will go away when the script is updated.
