Hi

I usually download the latest updates every month or so but today while downloading the xp sp3 updates some strange things happened.

Near the end of the download (+-80%) the download speed and progress bars started to jump around:
 jump2.JPG (33.1K)
downloads: 4
 jump.JPG (28.61K)
downloads: 7
 jump3.JPG (28.03K)
downloads: 5
At the end of the download I got 2 Error messages:
 untitled.JPG (27.6K)
downloads: 7
I attached the log aswell
 apup.txt (90.61K)
downloads: 3
Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to the forums, Bulletjie.

The "jumping around" behaviour is a known problem; the screen refresh is affected if Apup is attempting to download a file from Microsoft which cannot be found. Only the visible screen behaviour is affected, nothing else.

The other errors are because the Windows XP script is attempting to download old files that were superseded on Patch Tuesday. This script is awaiting an update.
