If a lot of people migrated to 7 then those people would want autopatcher thus creating a need for it and an urgency to make one.
This would probably take some time though as people are happy with XP are are weary upgrading to 7 because of Vista.

I tried win7 ultimate and found one thing that any users going win7 should know. Acronis won't work properly if you try to reimage xp image back onto a win7 formatted system. I tried that and it bulked at me going back to xp. So it does ring of what vista does in format is different. So you have to do a complete wipe of a vista or win7 HDD so you can reimage or reinstall xp correctly back onto the HDD to go back to xp. But besides that I love the interface and the power save mode. I thought it died on me but was in sleep mode and all hardware powered down and took a few key press and it was back on. Beyond that make sure you get all the drivers and updates on flashstick or another HDD or cd/dvd media so when you do go Win7 you can get the drivers for your motherboard loaded up and any other hardware otherwise you get more headache again. I found that out so this time around I will get all the drivers and software ahead of time. Then try again. But I will go Win7 even if the autopatcher isn't out yet, I will try Belarc for now and see how that does but I will use Autopatcher as well when it becomes available to use for Win7. I can attest my first dive into Win7 x86 ultimate-I will try to get x64 ultimate and test it- was very good so far just that anyone going make sure you have all the drivers for motherboard or hardware loaded first using the F6 key so that it will find all the right drivers for x86 but I would like to go x64 if and when I can cause I was able to find all the drivers for my motherboard to operate under either x86 or x64 which was good thing. And this is my opinion and experience so far others may vary but at least I did test the waters of Win7 and so far it's worked out well. I see what happens when I switch over to x86 but I would like to go x64 if possible and then load my x86 and x64 programs and give it a burn in and see what it does.
