I downloaded Apup at the announcement thread:

I started it and I downloaded all Windows XP pack. At the end, Apup reported me this warning:

"One or more files failed verification. Would you like to continue at your risk?"

So I checked the log file, and this is the error:

Item AutoPatcher Updater 1.0.2 doesn't appear to be here. Adding its downloads to queue...

In the preferences of apup.exe files, the version is 1.0.0.1 indeed. Is the link in the thread wrong? ( http://www.autopatch.../files/apup.zip )

Furthermore, I think there's no need to alert about failed hash matches after the download. Downloaded files should be re-checked, and Apup should alert if some hashes are already incorrect.

It seems you've the wrong apup.exe. The current version is 1.0.3

after extraction, the directories, must look like this. NOTE new apup_bin directory for apup.exe.

The version I reported is old because the post is old

Failed verification is still present. And I also noticed that if I restart apup immediately, it re-downloads some already downloaded data (~150 MB). Furthermore it doesn't remember my choices (for example to download Extras) and I must re-select them every time.
