Hi guys

I have tried to update my current Autopatcher and have even tried updating a clean Autopatcher and have received a Verification Error message multiple times.

With the clean install - The last file it tried to downloand is "apengine_rti.7z" when I received the error. I updated from a clean Autopatcher and it started off saying it needed to download 237mb, within a few seconds this dropped down to 170mb, and then after about 5 minutes it dropped down again and ended up only downloading 35mb before giving me the error message.

With my current Autopatcher - When i try to update my old autopatcher (it is about 300mb in size) it first deletes around 40mb of data before downloading script files, it then displays it needs to download about 103mb and then i receive the error message without the program downloading any files.

I have tried to upload the log file for you but the forum is refusing me upload it

When i quit the installer I then receive another message:

Application Error
Permission denied in prjUpdater.frmMain_Unload at line 106

I would appreciate any help please.

ctlwinsckdownloader component failure error is related to an firewall/proxy blocking apup. if is this the issue, we may try help you, but we need to know the anti-virus/firewall/script blocking software or any other kind of security-related sofware that you have. also, we need to know how you connect to internet, if is with an proxy/wireless, etc

thanks

Hi

Sorry for the long wait.

I am using AVG Free anti-virus software along with windows standard firewall settings. I connect to the internet via adsl 384kbps using a proxy server.

I hope this information can help. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Many thanks

yes, it helps. but this is the problem: "proxy server". the current version of apup doesn't handle proxies :( . since currently we don't have an developer, fix this issue and improve apup can be an big problem. i didn't tried ultrasurf with apup yet. maybe, just maybe, it helps, but i don't know for sure
