I have autopatcher, clean update folder copied to a NAS on our internal network

if I run windows XML updates or 'remove windows messenger' parts of autopatcher,
it locks up/hangs

also the file read/scan at startup is slow on network.

ideas?

same files run on slow usb drive work with no issues.

ideas?

well, so far we know, autopatcher has issues when running from a remote location. most of those issues are the same ones that you found. i remember that some time ago, an user found an bypass to this issue, but i don't remember how he did or where i've read that. so far i know, the only one option that works for sure is run autopatcher from an removable device or copy the whole folder to the local machine
