Adobe (Macromedia) recently updated their Flash Player to version 9.0.115.

They updated the Shockwave Player to version 10.2.0.23 in August.

The APUP script needs to be updated to reflect this so that AutoPatcher can offer the newest versions.

Currently apup does not provide flash, java, shockwave, or the rest of the add-ons from the August release. That will be coming in the not-too-distant future, but for now they are more worried about program stability, compatibility, and windows updates.

When my APUP tries to download the Install_flash_player_plugin.msi it is only 4.1mb in size, yet only downloads at 1kb/s.

i left it for 4 hours, and it had only collected 78kb/s. :(

Is this the same for everyone or am i doing something wrong?

well, you may close apup then try again. or you may look for that file into the script and download it manually. personally, i believe than than the .exe version is far better, since it is less than half of the download size for each one of macromedia stuff
