Verification Failure related to rootsupd.exe

Fellow forum inhabitants,

In attempting to run autopatcher for Windows 2000 Pro, I keep getting a verification error related to a file called rootsupd.exe.

Log file follows.

Looks like there's a difference in the MD5 hash and file size.

Is this one getting fixed in the forseeable future, or do I need to download that particular file manually?

this one was updated by ms a few days ago. i believe that james will update this one in a few days, but he is overloaded with personal job and i don't know when we will be able to update this one. i will not update this one, because i'm already too overloaded in several degrees more than i can handle
