how to get rid off e9ac6020 folders

hi all i updated my pc and used autopatcher from a usb hard drive now .
now i ran into a bit off a hardware issus so i reinstalled my windows xp home edtion and ran the autopatcher from my c:/ drive and all when well ... now my main probelm is on my usb hard drive i got folders called
e9ac6020eab4109ea55b ect ect how do i delete these as i dont need them . windows wont let me get rid from boot up and safe mode

any advice please how to get rid

those folders are temporary folders created by the updates himself, not autopatcher. i us to remove those folders easily after an reboot, but i've saw more than once the issue that you are describing, even with WU himself. this us to happen due an process locking the file/folder. in those situations, unlocker works like a charm.

cheers that works great thanks unlocker is ace and removed the folders i wanted many thanks and many thanks to a easy software at removing them
