OK. as I found on this site the core of this problem might be because of retail KIS2010.
I will try to resolve this by myself.
Thanks to all for rapid help ;)

yep. but this issue happens even with the anti-virus only. something in this version prevents the removal of the old modules and, due that, kaspersky users will find a lot of issues. worst: kas support doesn't help a bit and the word "trust" have an complete new meaning for KAS. so far we know, only press exit with kas 2010 helps, but if you find any solution, please share it with us

by the way: i was sleeping when you first posted. if your post clock is right: 02:51 AM.

Ok, I will let you know how to fix it)))
I hope soon )))

P.S. and my clock is right)) - I am from russia - completly another time region)))

btw - why the main apup window is not resizable??
I mean - yes, i can maximaze it - but the main listbox will remain the same.
And all buttons will not move from they original position...

Also - why I can not sort listbox by clicking on headers??
Also - looks like that you are using NON english Date format.
I see some greek symbols... - very bad representative(((
Also - there is no any filter regarding Available releases...
For ex. I want to see ONLY releases which contain word " XP ".
What I should do????

I think all these changes are rather small and could be programmed in 2-4 days.
Why it's not still in final apup release???

good luck. i'm trying that since last month. so far, no luck. and kas support was useless. they sent an rule that only works for 2009 version.

> btw - why the main apup window is not resizable?
no. that flaw is ancient. the screen is bigger in the latest beta, but only that

> NON english Date format
no. it's plain english date format. the date is taken from here, in this field: Date=20090927. so, the format is yyyymmdd. but the answer for that issue comes from your log: Non-Unicode Default: Russian. if you change that to english, the issue will be fixed. that is an know issue too

> I want to see ONLY releases which contain word " XP ".
there's not an option to that. currently, we don't have an developer to complete the required fixes, like this one :(

> Why it's not still in final apup release???
because antonis leaved this project long ago. erik tried fix some things, but he had several problems in his personal life and had to leave the project too. we are looking for an developer since long ago, but seems that no one cares. worst: we must update the download engine to deal with proxies and allow resume. i know something about, but i don't develop anything since more than 10 years. and yes, i know my limitations and, due that, i can't fix those issues. so, we urge an developer, but we only can pay with our gratitude :(

no need too. but since kas doesn't care, there's just a few solutions:
- rollback to 2009. the license is valid to that;
- press the exit button that in the KAS icon that is on tray:
Posted Image
- choose another security software that has some support or at least one that knows the meaning of the word "trust"
