My friends, i’m proud to announce that we have an new version for AutoPatcher Updater. Mostly, this version fixes an issue that Kaspersky 2010 users was having when running apup. Now, thanks to help from our friends from Kaspersky, this issue is now solved. But this isn’t the only one thing that has changed. The screen view was improved, by adding resizable window + fix for wrong ‘Date’ field displaying in ListView control. Still there’s more to come. Stay tunned to see what comes next :)
Doesn’t matter with version you are running, you will have an option to download this new version or not, but take a look, there’s an serious job being done and I believe that yours will like it :)
As for those that are downloading apup for the first time, the new version can be reached in our downloads page
For those that are helping us fixing those issues, thanks again. If you think that can help too, even with comments, please feel free to do it. Your opinion is important and we need it in order to do an better software.

well, apup works with seven, but autopatcher.exe doesn't detect the OS. i've sent already a dozen of mails to Antonis about that. hopefully, he will fix the issue or release the code. any of those solutions work. this doesn't stop an script for seven, but this script will have severe limitations, because we will be unable to restrict to an particular OS and, if the user mix an release without restrictions with another one, autopatcher will try install seven updates into vista or xp. the same thing will happen to seven. this behavior is too dangerous and, due that, we are asking to Antonis since seven reached RC. hopefully, he knows that there's no an better solution than autopatcher and will fix those issues and just is waiting to the final release of seven or some other thing that may be relevant to an proper detection
