I an new to this forum, but did use autopatcher a year or two ago.
I downloaded files last night (about 800meg) for my windows XP Pro (SP3) machine and recieved the error about failed verification.
I then read some posts on the forum and re ran APUP a few times and noticed in the log files that the number of files to download reduced by 1 each time I reran APUP from 23 to 17 files remaining.
However, once at 17 files left to download it continues to fail verification.
Below is a copy of my log file and I would appreciate any help.

this looks like apup is being blocked in some way or an virus got you. please, check for viruses into your machine. this link may help you
by the way, can be an good idea check your firewall. we may help you with that, but we need to know the name of it
