I have downloaded the AP and followed the instructions to update it and all, but it keeps telling me that i have downloaded the wrong version, hence i cannot use the AP to update my windows. Any help pls??

Unfortunately we never got an x64 release up an running, we tried but up to this point it was unsuccessful. You didn't see an x64 package
listed so you shouldn't have been surprised that your download wouldn't install - if you're interested you can read the reasons Here!
