the most probable issue that you have is an viral infection. but to be sure, we need the apup log, that can be generated by hitting the file "hit this..." just open the log file with notepad and then paste it in here, please

well, according to your log, apup is downloading only the files that are in our own server. but it's odd not see any download errors. just an idea: try reach those sites:
http://www.eset.com/...escan/index.php
http://us.mcafee.com...mfs/default.asp
http://www.pandasecu...com/activescan/
http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
http://security.syma...id=br&venid=sym
http://support.f-sec.../home/ols.shtml
http://onecare.live....t.htm?s_cid=sah

or an link from those that are in your log, like this one or this other one with an browser. all those links are alive and us to be locked when your machine is infected. this could be an reason to apup find the updates, but not download the files. by the way: H:\Autopatcher Vista SP2 is an local folder or is an remote folder? apup doesn't work in remote patchs

weird. apup is reaching internet, because you are able to download the scripts. it could be related to something in your firewall/anti-spyware, but it's just an guess. when you look into modules folder, there's something in there? if not, there's one beta version for apup. it's very basic yet, doesn't have any preactions and is unable to extract modules (yes, right now, it's just an downloader engine test) and yet, it may have some issues. so please, before try that, please check:
- apup version: for apup 1.1, curl must be able to reach internet as well;
- firewall rules, for booth apup and curl;
- there's any files/folders into modules folder?

thanks

if you have some files/folders, then apup is reaching ms websites to download the updates. if is reaching, but not all files are present, then the issue is related to something into the machine, like free space, user rights, or even an network usage (apup doesn't work in remote folders. you must save it in local mode only). but the weird thing is that apup isn't downloading anything. so, there's no other option than try another approach. please, check at your pms.

Private Messages. you can reach that under your name (at the top the page), under "messenger".

> no problems to download xp updates with Autopatcher only Vista 32bits
and that is really weird. the updates comes from the same site. i will do an download test with vista x32 sp2 script, tonight, just to be sure if this issue is related to something into your machine or something else

well, that md5 was taken from apup root, to include all the files required to booth apup and autopatcher work. so, in order to check that md5 file, you should put that file under apup root. an tool like hksfv or any other md5 check tool capable of processing recursive md5 checks will be required. hksfv is free and most of those tools too

Just a thought.... but has there been a change where there was a problem with spaces in the root folder name and AP downloading files correctly? Was thinnking , that at one time the naming convention for the download folder had to be continuous. According to his log, it is using "H:\Autopatcher Vista SP2" would changing it to "H:\AutopatcherVistaSP2" work?

well, i've tried a couple of times with folder names like:
d:\test\xp enu test

and it worked, but if in the patch name you have an character like çéóõ, etc, forget. apup and autopatcher will not work properly.

but the safest patch is always an short one and, if possible, without spaces
