where do I download the autopatcher engine for xp pro I see the updater but not the engine itself ?

the engine can be selected to download through apup. right now, it is the fist item on apup list (but the apup himself us to be the first one. we just are holding it because there's an issue that makes apup download the compressed files all over again, but we are already working on it). then, you have to select the desired script. for xp enu, certain updates are related to .net. so, if you wish be fully updated, you may require this one as well. ok, maybe direct x too

You're almost there. Read This! post. You essentially need to follow 4 simple steps - Download apupxxx.zip - Extract apupxxx.zip - Run apup.exe
- Download a release ie AutoPatcher for Windows XP, Vista, etc. It looks like you downloaded apupxxx.zip, did you extract it, do you see apup.exe
- if so Run it?
Since my original post APUP has been updated - APUP can Remember Selections now - see This! post.
Note - APUP (for now) has issues with downloads around the 4GB size - don't try to download every release available in one session, you may get
errors. Also, when the release is fully downloaded you need to Run autopatcher.exe to install the updates within the release.
