Hi there

First of all, kudos for an excellent application - it has made my life a lot easier!

I have a small issue completing my update as I cannot install a remaining few updates.

Please bear in mind, my XP SP3 build is old, full of cr*p, already has legacy WUD updates and I have tinkered with AP before...

I have a problem with KB931125 (Root certificates) and Office XP SP3 as they appear available for update. I try and install but they keep coming back on the list as black rather than blue. I have everything else in critical and recommended updated fine, I can't see any existing entries for KB931125 in the modules folder and there is a registry entry already there for the 09/2009 version (I RTFF'd the forum :)). I can't see any reason for Office XP SP3 being installed at all.

When I select the option to turn these off and try and install the remaining "trivial" updates (such as Office add ons, Remove MS VM, Sort menu bar alphabetically etc.) again, they refuse to install.

Is it simply the case that the build is a mess and AP is not able to figure out what it needs to load or am I making a n00b mistake?

Cheers

PCB

the latest version for this one is:
RegistryPath=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{EF289A85-8E57-408d-BE47-73B55609861A}
KeyName=Version
KeyValue=23,0,2195,0

and this version is from november.

take a look in this folder: modules\Critical\RootCert_files

i don't know for sure about how old is your modules folder. you may have an outdated version for certain scripts

> they refuse to install
certain updates doesn't work if you have an more recent version for an update. but autopatcher doesn't work if in the path you have any non english character like ιαγό, etc. may be an idea check that and don't run from desktop if the user name for windows has any non-english character

but to be sure about the things that aren't working properly, we need more details about your system and the location of your modules folder
