Just a small issue with the current Vista script, I believe. Looks like a couple of files are failing verification.
Windows6.0-KB905866-v35-x86.msu
windows-kb890830-v3.1.exe

I get a "Files did not pass verification" error when it's finished downloading everything. And I'm downloading all the extras and the XPsp3 files....

Downloaded twice, and did the same thing both times at the end of the download.

@leeuniverse

You can fire up AutoPatcher, let the releases load, then click "About" -> "Release Info", check the "Official" header, the release in
RED aka Unofficial is your problem.

You should then run APUP with logging enabled (by dbl-clicking "hit_this..." or Run "apup.exe /log") and select only the release that is
unofficial and post the log in the appropriate forum -> XP issues in the XP forums, Vista issues in the Vista forums etc.

When posting logs only post a log containing information pertaining to the release you are having trouble with, AutoPatcher Updater and
AutoPatcher Engine can be selected in the releases list just not multiple OSes, Extras mixed with an OS and so on - just the problem release.

Okay..... did it. But, "Release Info" was greyed out.
But, I will post the log that was created in the XPsp3 thread.
I was actually able to click "Finish" this time, using the log option, cause before I could only click exit.
Thanks

When trying to download "AutoPatcher for Windows Vista SP2 (x86)(don't mix w/sp1)" using apup it gets to a certain point then i get this error

If anyone can reply and tell me what this means it would be much helpful. i am looking to download All available Vista updates & format my system and clean offline install all updates. (was planning on doing it sometime on the 13/03/10 but the offline updates are not working properlly.. so any assistance would be muchly appreciated

PS: App update tools has module editor, what is it for? and are we able to manually download windows updates & have AP install them? or does AP need to download them so it can install them? (i ask because i downloaded Vista SP 2 for when i format, and wondered if AP is able to install that aswell?... does AP download ALL windows updates or just certain ones?

thanks very much in advance for any help to my questions, if i haven't explained clearly please let me know and i will try and explain clearer.

Regards
/u
One more thing, also downloaded AP engine 5.6.0.100 and under the title section it states it's an unofficial / unsupported release, the title bar for the app states "AutoPatcher - Unknown Unofficial Release"

Any ideas?

Currently running Vista home basic SP2 32bit OS

Is there any answer for SoL_SFL13's post?

I also receive the message,

"One or more files has failed verification. Please re-run AutoPatcher Updater.
If this problem persists, please report to the forums at AutoPatcher.com."

...after each time I download update files for Vista even though the files appear to download OK. Are any of these files usable or do I have to revert to the old way of updating? I am also a user of Vista SP2 32bit.

The release manager recommended running APUP - see post #8.

This is a standard error message when an update is no longer avilable from the link or has been updated - it helps to know what file is giving you problems. We need to see a log file from your latest run. If your issue is the same one pointed out Here! (KB905866) - this is common, this file has been updated. As soon as Domenico sees the post he will address the issue. When he says try again or run APUP - you will need to update your release :)

@EDmvr

...run APUP and update your Vista release, make sure you're getting the latest script - autopatcher_vista_x86_SP2_20101214.script - hopefully this will fix any issues :)
