Root Cert APM issue

After numerous retries still having issue with the KB931125_xp_x86_rootcert.apm file. Either its not downloading, is not updating, or whatever. Keeps showing a checksum error. I usually rename the apup.log to apupold.log before retrying a updated download, then I can compare the 2 files. Last 2 have been identical. Would this issue be enough to make the AP unofficial when I run it; because, It was saying official last month. AP saying the only t hing that is false is the XP SP3 English dated 20091213. The others are true.

ok, i've found the issue. an old version of the rootcerts module is included in windows_xp_sp3_enu_critical_20091210.7z. this issue will be fixed in about 2h

No problem, figured was just something minor. But, sometimes they are a bugger to find.

true. and due certain modules require an change in the registry to work (users that run just WU don't enable certain updates, like KB968389), the modules can't be taken from the work folder. and, due that, certain rogue modules can stay in the wrong place...

but it's done. the old rootcerts module was removed from windows_xp_sp3_enu_critical, that had an change into the date just to avoid be downloaded from users behind an webcache
