I use dial-up and have a problem downloading larger files like directx_feb2010_redist.exe (107mb). Went to my public library and used their T-1 line to get it on a flash drive (can not run AP on the library system).
How can I integrate it into AP?
Also, I get the red unsupported notice in AP. Is there a way to identify the update file that causes this issue?
Thanks, Will

pretty easy. just create an folder like follows:
autopatcher:\modules\Components\directx_files
and put directx_feb2010_redist.exe inside directx_files. then, please run apup and select the direct x script that it will download the missing files

yes. there's an md5 file into autopatcher root. please run it against your folder to check for missing files and please, do it for each script that you have. then you may found the missing files. also, an idea may be check the about screen to check for the scripts that are showing as official. if, after check that list you still have unofficial issues, please take an recursive md5 from your entire apup folder and submit it to us that we may find the issue to you

to get the download links for the large files and add them to a download manager as well, and download while you sleep or gone, this
is what I do. The scripts will have all the md5 info to verify the files before you add them to your release. The scripts are simple text
files and can be opened in Notepad.

Using the script, I add the large files to my download manager and get all the files to my local drive. I then verify the files using the
supplied md5sums from the script. Lastly, I run APUP and select the same script and let APUP download about 20 KB of the missing
file, then I close APUP - this will ensure the correct folder gets created (in the correct location). I then move the completed file to
the folder and over-write the partial download. Done! It is a good idea to run APUP one last time to make sure you have a completed
download - and Official.
