I have just updated Office 2007 on a Windows 7 Home Premium computer.

A number of updates where displayed and some where not.

I went through the list of updates that were not made available and found that some of them should have been installed (ie no error message was displayed to state that the update was not needed nor the update did not find the required software - or words to that effect). I do not have access to the computer anymore, so I cannot give specific error messages.

I was wondering the updates should be Operating System specific or not.

Maybe for Office 2010 64-bit which can only be installed on Vista_x64 & Windows7_x64.

Any thoughts?

I don't have Office 2007 so I can't comment on that but you could go here: http://siginetsoftware.com/forum/ and look for the Office Integrator sub-forum and in there look for the Office Integrator help file; Help_File.RAR.

When you extract the OfficeIntegrator.chm file from the *.RAR file you will be presented with a list of updates/hotfixes/patches/etc that the Office Integator folk have decided are required for the versions of Office listed. All applicable updates are shown - pending possible releases on 09 March 20101. :blink:

Office 2007 release must be review.
I'm cleaning (and testing... final test...) Windows Seven releases. When I've finished, I'll check Office release.
