When Microsoft created SP1 for Office 2007, they created language specific releases in order to reduce the size of the download. I wanted to keep the main release for Office 2007 GLB compatible meaning that you can run the same update on any language. Plus these service packs are huge! For these two reasons, I decided to keep the Office service packs out of the main release which the creation of AP for Office 2007 SP Addon Pack (English) was born.

Just as the other Office releases, you may run the Office 2007 SP1 pack on any language of Windows but you MUST have an English version of Office 07. Every patch Tuesday, the Office 2007 Critical update pack will be the only '07 pack updated with GLB compatible updates.

The Office 2007 SP Addon Pack (English) will include the following Service Packs:
KB936982: 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 1
KB932726: Office Accounting 2007 Service Pack 1
KB937154: Microsoft Office Project 2007 Service Pack 1
KB937155: Microsoft Office Visio 2007 Service Pack 1
KB937157: Calendar Printing Assistant for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Service Pack 1
KB937158: Microsoft Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007 Service Pack 1
KB937160: Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 2007 Service Pack 1
KB940289: Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack Service Pack 1
Total Size ~560MB

Now that's BIG. o_O
But since it's a one time download then it's probably just like any other day using apup.exe... ;)

[edit]
Hmm...is it good to just clump them together like that?
How about the add-on consists only the "core" updates while Visio, Project and Accounting is on separate add-ons?

Sorry for just quick-editing; I just don't want to double post...
