attempting to download the office addon pack. its stopping at msnsq.exe (MSN Money Stock Quotes). Microsoft's links on its own websites are also broken, i think that either they pulled the file or moved it to someplace else

well, at ms download center, i've found only this. i'm unsure if this is one has the same function or not, because i don't run any version of ms office. so, i only can fix this issue by removing this file from the download. issue: due the check for official, then an removal for that file needs to be set as well, otherwise all those that has this file will have an unofficial version as soon as this file is removed. but i have this file at home, so i can sent it to you by email. if you wish that, please send me an pm, with an email address able to receive attachments or at least state an kind of hosting site that you can reach, like rapidshare, etc.

but please, don't post your email in the forum. there's a lot of bots that come in here and grab infos that they think that are email to send spam

I don't think it's the same; the Overview says: The Stock Actions for the Research Task Pane download allows you to insert stock quote information from the MSN Money Stock Quotes service into Microsoft Office 2003 documents and speadsheets.

I checked the downloads I had made in the past and found: Excel_MSNMoneyStockQuote.exe then I did a search of Microsoft for that file name and found nothing. So, I'm not sure what happened here.
