i used other method to download the hotfix, can i use autopathcer to install them? i don't want to install them one by one

yes, you can choose autopatcher to deploy those. but in order to that, you have to do an .apm module to deploy that

I am NEWBIE to computers.
I have a very small, very basic question.
I downloaded Autopatcher. Then I started APUP.EXE. Somehow, I could manage NOT to download windows updates (which I already have with me).
Now, I have Autopatcher.exe
When I run that file, it asks me to click on two eula's and then at last step it says "generating tree... no compatible items found"

I tried a lot over internet searches o tackle this problem. Now, with my little knowledge, I want to CREATE ".apm" (files/folders whatever it is).

What does .apm mean?
How am I suppose to do it?
How to use .apm with Autopatcher.exe?
How would I know which patch is to be loaded first and which later? Which NOT to be loaded?

DO THEY HAVE ""STEP-BY-STEP"" GUIDE (or something like that)?

if apup is locked by your firewall or you are behind an proxy and apup doesn't know the proper settings for it, then apup will not download anything. also, if you don't select the scripts that you wish to, then apup will do nothing

probably because you haven't downloaded any .apm files. those files are required in order to check if the update is already installed or not, set an install order and even set the proper strings to deploy the update silently

the .apm files are basically pure text files, where you can find descriptions for the updates, release date for the update, an set of detections for the update himself and the install string. in order to do that, you are required to know about how windows registry works, how file detections works, how to deploy silently and a lot of extra stuff. an guide for that can be found in here.

every update has an release date. if you have an update that was released in january, then that update has to be installed before an update released in february. but that is just the general order. some updates require something be in place first and due that, the .apm files need to know every single requirement for the update

by the way: autopatcher isn't more than a robot that doesn't learn anything by himself. you may have the updates, but if they aren't in the autopatcher expected location, then autopatcher can't see them
