I reported this information on July 30 - here!

It is easy to understand why some would think a script error is a AutoPatcher or APUP bug but it isn't - the scripts need editing often. The fact the error reported about word2007-kb974631-fullfile-x86-glb.exe was posted in Development > AutoPatcher Bug reports is likely the reason the bug was missed.

Google did not show me that July 30 post, and I did not think to check that section of the forum.

Just to clarify, is my report in the appropriate section?

You're fine BritTim, you posted an Office issue in the Office forums w/ an Office log file - this is the proper way :)

...which is exactly my point - you shouldn't have to look in an unrelated forum for Office issues, there's the Office forums, but some posters just drop their problems in any ole' forum and apparently don't care to look for a dedicated section for the script they are running.

Windows 7 I believe is the only script without a 'named' forum - for now Windows 7 issues go in 'General Support', and all other scripts should have their own forum.

BTW, does anyone know why spell checking isn't turned on? Normally I have a few words in red that I misspelled but nothing is showing up red (in the editing window) and I know the spelling is incorrect - hmmm. I haven't changed any settings.

No, BritTim had an issue with 1 file, it has been reported (see post #11) and will be addressed. You on the other hand -> Files to be Downloaded: 30 - seem to have a bigger problem, your connection. Use Spoiler code like I asked in the other thread. If you continue to post log files with 10s of files missing, the response will be the same - why are you missing so many files, is there something wrong with your connection?

I'm starting to think you are spamming, if this is the case your posts will likely be deleted.

@smd111

I'm not sure if this will help, maybe - the location of your releases -> C:\Users\??????\Desktop\apup, there is a slight chance that maybe all the '??????' in the path could be affecting apup.exe. I know it sounds strange but APUP did have a few issues with the path in the past. Is it possible for you to relocate to C:\apup and try again with a single script? It should be pretty easy to highlight the \apup folder and 'move' to C:\.

As long as you continue to be missing 20, 30+ files, the issue has to be at your end, at most a script will have maybe 1 or 2 problems, not 30+ missing or failed files.

no idea. i don't see any red marks and i'm pretty sure that i misspell a lot more than you do. but ok, firefox and US dictionary helps a lot in my case, at least on typo. i can't be sure if something in the board settings has changed, because only frank can reach that area, but under user cp, there's an
