Hello everyone.

My friend reccomanded me to use Autopatcher to install Windows updates with, and disable the Windows automatic update option.
I installed Autopatcher and everything seemed to work fine, I rebooted because the program asked me to. I opened Autopatcher just to check wether everything had been installed, and non of the updates had been installed.

Here I selected the updates I wanted, got told that when a update showed up blue, it was installed allready.

Then I pressed next and got this screen, seems to be installing the updates.

After this it asked me to finish the installation and reboot, rebooted as mentioned above I checked wether everything had been installed, and the updates I selected were still black/did not install?

What should I do to get it to work? Any tips?

Thanks,

Note: Sorry if this has been a repost, I browsed around and couldnt find anything like this.

They did not install or just didn't get detected by AutoPatcher - there is a difference? Can you check your system to make sure they did not get installed, I don't have 7 x64 so I don't know how you would check this - maybe Add/Remove Programs. There are a few free programs that will detect OS updates - SIW 2010 is one.

I looked at 3 .apm files (they're the files that tell AutoPatcher how to install the update, as well whether or not the update is installed etc) - KB975560, KB977074, KB982381 - to see what is used for detections, it is nothing more than a .cat detection. The detections for the 3 are...
Spoiler
Can you search your system for these 3 .cat files and make sure the location is correct, the exact name (if different), and make sure they are simply not being detected as apposed to not installed - this is start? You are running 7 x64 language 1043?

I cannot find the .Cat files in the folders, they arent there. Also, may be a dumb question but where can I see if I'm running 7 x64 language 1043?

I know I'm running x64, and that its Windows 7. If with the language number you mean Dutch, yes its Dutch.
