Just a bump to the same topic. Upon checking further here, the description of this particular update states as a prerequisite that "You must have 2007 Microsoft Office suite Service Pack 1 to apply this update". Am I correct in assuming that KB974561 doesn't belong in AutoPatcher Office 2007 SP2?

Stop all!
KB974561 updates these files:
Msword.olb 12.0.6501.5000
Winword.exe 12.0.6514.5000
Wwlib.dll 12.0.6514.5000
So... KB974631 has replaced KB974561 because replaces same files at these versions:
Msword.olb 12.0.6501.5000
Winword.exe 12.0.6514.5001
Wwlib.dll 12.0.6514.5001
I'll remove KB974561 in a few minutes...

@Cristiano .. no problem, I wasn't particularly worried since Windows update said everything was up to date. I just wanted to report.
Please can you tell me your OS?
@dkdk_it .. Windows 7 pro 64 bit, and I stand corrected with the link you posted.
Many thanks dkdk_it for looking into the issue and identifying the problem.
