This error has been reported to the release maintainer, check the forums for a notice of 'fixed', at that point you will want to run APUP, select the script to update the release. This has been mentioned so many times now I can't say what post the notice will appear in - but it will happen soon.

i have found other topics that deal with other files but i could only find maybe a dozen or so posts with kb974631 in them i did see any thing about this file being reported among dozens of other files but only kb974631 is messed up for me as on today
while others have included lots of files

so please take no offense that i posted a specific topic about the file

smd111, no one is mad or offended, overwhelmed is a better phrase I suppose. You registered yesterday and already have 11 posts, at this rate in a year you will have 4000+ posts. The problem was you were posting all these log files missing 30 files here, 60 files there, I'm just trying to get you to slow down, read up on how to best ask for help, slim down the log file etc. It was hard to know for sure you weren't just having us go crazy trying to answer all these questions, believe it or not people (spammers) do this. I think the reason for the delay is Domenico is injured, one way or another the script will be fixed.

BTW, doing a simple search for kb974631 I found 17 results, the first report of the error was July 20 - here!.

you are correct

and i am sorry about the fast posts i generally post back as fast as i can when im trying to get help but now that i know that what can be done as of now has been done i will whate till the update is made unless i find any thing else wrong (i believe that is fair)
