I need help..
My environment..
I have proxy, but i got privileges to connect to internet directly without using proxy.
I want to run apup for the first time, but got 'Error fetching release List'

that error happens due 2 possible reasons:
1 - apup is unable to connect due an firewall restriction;
2 - apup is behind an proxy and isn't configured yet to work with it
as you have an proxy, the most provable reason is the 2nd one. i'm not behind an proxy right now to test an command that may help you to see the configuration of your proxy to set to apup, but one idea may be ask for the administrator of your network your proxy settings and set it for apup. just remember: the administrator may have set an transparent proxy, that still may require an gateway and that info you must set for apup in order to work. as an test, you may try this:
- start, run, cmd;
- ipconfig /all
write the gateway address and the port into apup, advanced. it shall work now, if properly set
