permission denied errors us to be related to:
- the file is already in use;
- the antivirus is locking that file (scanning, perhaps?);
as this is happening when you are updating apup, it's likely that you have some obsolete file into apup folder. can you please download apup again, from here and replace all the files that are into apup folder? this will not affect the modules folder
after this, please run apup again, to be sure that this problem is already solved
