ok. i will download it from my job, but i'm unsure about when i will be able to upload it. let me explain: my security suite has expired a few days ago. 2 weeks ago, i've ordered another one (KIS 2011, 3 licenses for 2 years). the problem: at least around here, kas is having some big delay and right now i'm without any security software, because the trial from kas has expired and the one that i had has now the same issue. so, the best thing that i can do right now is download it from one location, deploy, test and sign it from another location and upload it under linux (no way run windows without an decent security suite and have an 24x7 connection)

worst case scenario: tomorrow the new script will be online

i've noticed that the new version number was posted and the detection is done by that number. so, i've updated the script to math with that version

Adobe AIR updated ~ v2.6.0.19140 is the latest.

There is a v2.7.0 at RC2 so expect this to fail soon assuming Adobe uses the same link.

Could be because the version is now: AdobeAIR 2.7.0.19530 and sizes or something is different.

oh... about the version that is at releases.list, it was wrong, in deed. the ftp password has changed and the new one is restricted to the releases folder. the problem: the releases.list file isn't in there. an temporary solution was done and now it's possible edit that file again. i can't do that, but someone can and that's enough. in the new apup version, it's possible that the location of that file may change. the script for adobe air can be checked through this link. as yours may see, the log has AdobeAIR 2.7.0.19530 (the date for the fix was wrong, but was fixed in the script that i've just sent to be uploaded. i don't know why adobe did this, but the version remains the same and they only have changed the md5 and the size for that file. i've noticed that an registry detection is possible under KLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Adobe AIR and i've forgot to look if that key was present before i uninstall the version that already was installed (this new one was saying that was already installed)

anyway, the fix in on the way

thanks again

The new apup will be able to point to any location to download(maby even locally(as in on your network)). If it can't find the original location it will give an error that asks you to go into the option area and tell it where to find the releases.list. It will then always look there for updates.

Local locations would be good for those who have multiple machines of different OSs to tend to and keep all the files on a network computer. You would of course have to modify your own modules or when I finish this use my module manager I will make next. From the code I received there is already a module manager in place. I will convert the code and add the functions that are desire. Im sure a release of the updated module manager to the public would be fine by the team. If not, SAY SO.

for sure. there's already one included at the tools folder. the main problem with that is most of the times that module editor doesn't work due Comct232.ocx. i us to do modules taking an old one as template, but that could help a lot those that are unfamiliar with module building. i don't remember right now if that tool has some option to set restrictions to the modules, but if so, it could help a lot

edit: interesting. the module editor loads under 7 x64. really, long time no see... but slipstream, removal and install tabs are blank here

The module editor works for me, thats how I found out about it, and the same tabs are empty for me as well. I think its basically just to add commands to it. Not all installs and removes are the same, same with slipstreams. If you type some crap into the box and then switch to advanced mode(module in txt view) you see it show up in there exactly as you typed it.
