Office 2010 udpates?

I was wondering when you might be able to get the update for Office 2010 up and running? I have downloaded quite a few updates to Office 2010 already.

oh yes. we know about office 2010, but will someone do some free time for us? yes, we have the codes for it, but we need free time to update it. as yours know, free time doesn't grow in trees...

Question for anyone who has used both extensively, is Office 2010 worth the investment versus using the latest OpenOffice?
If you were to pick two or three things you like about one tool over the other what would it be?

well, ms did an video stating that those that run openoffice takes -B (or 80 instead 100, etc), because "the things are hidden in openoffice". well, i have them both. basically, openoffice looks like office 2003. so, those that are familiar with office 2003 deal with it. by other hand, under office 2007 and 2010 there's that ... that hides everything. until you learn where the stuff are, you take a lot more time to do things than if you do the same with openoffice.
but ms has an point: when under openoffice, if you save in ms format, some images are in the wrong place. the reason? there's an written guide about how ms formats work? no. if no, then everything is made on guess basis and this us to have issues. is really required send an work to an teacher in ms word format? one is free, the other one don't. one runs under linux, the other one, maybe with wine and still is paid. it's really an problem to someone that was supposed to teach someone have openoffice and ms word? teachers are so dumb that they can't do that? what about pdf? the user will save it according his own specifications and will be readable under most of the systems. still, under msoffice, try save it in openoffice format to see what happens...
but there's one thing: when you record an macro under ms office, it us to work. under openoffice, not always.
oh yes, there's an little thing... Brazil and Portugal are matching the way about how we write certain words. if you run firefox and have openoffice, vero will do the trick. as for msoffice, good luck.

there's not an 3rd thing. but there's an list of things that i don't like in msoffice. to make simple, 4 things: ribbon, ribbon, ribbon and ribbon
about openoffice:
- the dictionary for our language was updated more than 1 year ago and everybody can update it without pay a single cent. as for msoffice, forget 2003, doesn't work well with 2007 and seems to work with 2010. oh yes, the update for it has arrived almost 1 year later for the same kind of update to openoffice. so, those that run openoffice, had 1 extra year to learn things like this: idéia x ideia (in english: idea). an small thing, in deed, but helps a lot if you have something to say "this is wrong" to you
- the interface is a lot more familiar than ribbon;
- there's not an thing to annoy when i'm typing something like this: Santa Maria, October 16[enter]
