done, problem solved. ms match seems to be discontinued (at least, i didn't found any trace of this one anymore). so, removed. for junkmail, there's a couple of issues... this one us to be updated every month and no one reports nothing from this release. given that, this script us to stay several months without any kind of update. in fact, i have more free time lately, because i've quit from one of my jobs to have more peace, but i'm also assimilating an news that i really didn't liked and is distracting me too much and probably will keep in that way for some years. also, the version included is for outlook 2003 and there's 3 versions for it right now. so, i've just removed this one as well

sorry

@romberger

The link to that file does appear to be dead (no longer any good). I'm not sure anymore what Domenico is doing with the Office products, or if he is even visiting our forums to help with some of the questions with regard to releases he is (or was) maintaining.

I'm not sure exactly the file - I think fileconvert_enu.apm - but to prevent this update from appearing in AutoPatcher you can delete it.

If you run APUP again and update the Office Addon Pack the file (the .apm, the .exe is no longer available) will download again. The release will continue to be unofficial unless the maintainer addresses the issue, I can't promise anything. I suppose the thing to do at this point is remove the release from the list.

If you have a number of release in one folder, I'm sure you do, to know exactly what release is causing the Unofficial / Unsupported flag...
...fire up AutoPatcher - click 'About' - 'Release Info' - the Title in red (and False) is the culprit.

This is one of the reasons I have said for a long time (and few agreed) that it's better to have each release in it's own folder. If a maintainer disappears and links expire resulting in missing files, this will cause the whole package to be Unofficial. Another habit I've grown accustomed to is 'copying' a release to a temp folder and attempting to update it, if something fails and the release becomes Unofficial, at least my original is still Official, though maybe becoming outdated.

When the date of the release begins to get many months old, except for updates like DirectX, a user should be careful when updating for the reasons I mentioned.

I also deleted your post in Extras (double post) regarding the same error - wrong forum.

I forgot to mention, you might as well remove both file and folder for this update.

\fileconvert_enu.apm_files
fileconvert_enu.apm

If the script should get fixed, the folder and file will be added (assuming there's an update available) or removed anyway. This way you wont have a dead folder and a useless .apm file. Like I said, the release will be Unofficial due to this update being absent but the rest of the release will be fine.

Just to confirm sorry but this fix does not work. My settings and log enclosed:

Just to add. It looks like the reason for the error is not autopatcher but a fault on the Microsoft web site. Look here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/212265

the download fails. So I guess Microsoft need to fix this rather than autopatcher.

By the way. Sadly the oconvpck.exe file from resource kit also fails the autopatcher validation. Fortunately I have a backup apup from last year with a copy of oconvpck.exe which apup still likes and it installs ok here. YMMV.

Firstly, oconvpck.exe was added on July of 2004 (nearly 7 yrs ago), who knows when it was no longer available but => I mentioned it was a dead link and no longer available on March 7 2011 (post #5) above - that should have been a red flag. You got lucky you have a backup, as long as the md5 and size is the the same this should fix your Office Addons issue.

Note: Uncheck this script from your collection of scripts - Office Addons seems a dead release.

Berni42 - please read the post clearly. The suggestion was to remove an .apm file so an update that is Not in the release (oconvpck.exe) wont appear in AutoPatcher. This wasn't going to make the release Official - the release was signed with the exe file present, it is no longer available. Read post #5 and #6 clearly - it is self explanatory.

Sorry desimaniac :(

Microsoft shut us down once for distributing their updates - please do not link to hosted files you do not own the rights to.

I wanted to add desimaniac, if your gesture was meant to help, it is appreciated but it doesn't change anything. Also, we can't have a new user encouraging other users to download unknown files into their releases we at AutoPatcher are responsible for - I hope you understand.
