After applying the downloaded patches a reboot took place.

How can I now verify that the patches and updates are applied (all ?) successfully?

Is there an Autopatcher log somewhere (where exactly) ?

Or can I see in Win 7 somewhere (independent from autopatcher) a list of updates which are currently applied and active?

when you run autopatcher, the main screen shows the updates tree. those that are in black aren't already installed and the blue ones are already installed. as you deploy the updates, the ones that was properly installed becomes blue

Try this to open Windows Update, the service may need to be running and the Search feature enabled...

click the Start button / use the search box, type Update / from the list of results click Windows Update / click View update history.

Another option is the free portable tool SIW 2010. Find SIW 2010 (build 0714) - Freeware Version, look for SIW Without Installer (English-Only).

The file to download is siw.exe. Simply drop 'siw.exe' in a folder and double-click it to run SIW.

To view Updates, click Software / Operating System / Updates / Installed Updates.
