AutoPatcher Updated Components

AutoPatcher > Microsoft Windows - Updated Components lists the following: .NET Framework 1.1, .NET Framework 1.1 SP1, .NET Framework 3.0 (all in blue).
Opening Explorer to \Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework lists the following sub-folders: \v1.0.3705, \v1.14322, \v2.0.50727, \v3.0, \v3.5, and \VJSharp
I checked autopatcher_dotnet_enu.script in #setup Routine file downloads #
Item=.Net Framework 1.1 Update
Item=.Net Framework 1.1 SP1 Update
Item=.Net Framework 2.0 SP1 Update **For Windows 2K Only**
Item=.Net Framework 3.5 Update **WinXP/Vista**
I'm not an expert but it seems to me there is a discrepancy here. Should not what AutoPatcher lists be the same as what is in the script? And why not the other items?

Discrepancy as in what?
AP only lists what's applicable for your system, so in Win2k it lists the updates only up to .NET 2.0, but in WinXP it skips .NET 2.0 and lists .NET 3.5.
Well, likewise, AP won't list updates for Office XP or 2003 if you have only Office 2007 installed on your system even if you have downloaded the updates for all three of them.

Where is written that .NET Framework 2.0 is only Win2K software?
I have an ATI Radeon video card and its Catalyst Control Center requires the user to have .NET Framework 2.0 installed first.
Also, there are many other programs I've run across that also mention .NET Framework 2.0 as a prerequisite.
Clarification is required.

Make sense?

OK - your answer makes sense but, as the answer you provided was unknown to me, and probably many others, that info should be provided somewhere within AutoPatcher.
