I havent tried to download more than one release, but it seems that all modules just go to /modules dir and you cant distinguish what OS it belongs too. As i often have to burn autopatcher along with other tools to a CD-RW and go fix some computer i dont need all-in-one pack. In some case i would need only XP updates, in other only Vista. So now i have to make several copies of APUP folders and update them one by one for every OS. Maybe APUP can do it itself? in /modules dir there could be XP, Vista, etc. dirs.

AutoPatcher proper will only allow you to install the patches needed for the operating system in use; it doesn't matter if all of the updates are there or not, you'll have the same things available.

I'm concerned about the size. If i only need XP updates at some point, why should i burn all the updates?

The best way to do it would be to use a large USB flash drive or a rewritable DVD, that way you don't need to worry about using up multiple CD's.
